ELITE COMICS: JUNE 12th 11am-9pm

 

The fundraising continues! On Wednesday, June 12th The Runaway Sun team will be at Elite Comics with all kinds of cool stuff to buy. Stop by and talk to us about our film and see lots of awesome stuff!
We will have lots of merch to buy. All sales go toward funding The Runaway Sun short film.

TEN REASONS TO BE AT ELITE COMICS ON JUNE 12th

1. T-SHIRTS (Limited to 24)

This is a one day only t-shirt. It features the android concept art by Kyle Strahm. Very cool! It is very limited. Only 24 made in assorted sizes. If you're interested in getting one, I highly recommend getting there as soon as you can. Only $10!

2. ALIEN MAQUETTE (Limited to 10)

We will be taking alien maquette orders on the 12th. How it will work is you place your order the day of the event. You put half down on the 12th, and you pay the other half when you pick them up. They will be available for pick up two weeks later on June 26th at Elite Comics. The Maquettes will be $75. You'll be able to see the actual sculpture the day of the event.

We are also selling 10 on our indiegogo page. They are more expensive because of indiegogo fees and that also includes shipping. So if you want to be sure you get yours, then I highly recommend spending the extra $25 and ordering on Indiegogo. We will also throw in a special surprise to go along with it!

3. SKETCH COOKIES
That's right, sketch cookies. Our amazing artist will draw on your cookie with a special eatable marker. Sketch cookies will run between $5-$20 depending on the amount of detail on your cookie.

4. MY STEPDAD'S A FREAKIN' VAMPIRE! DVDs

Director, David Matheny is bringing copies of his student film, MY STEPDAD'S A FREAKIN' VAMPIRE with him. It is a special 2 disc edition with a poster inside. This version of the film is no longer in print. It's very rare. He will be handing these out with a donation to The Runaway Sun!

5. MY STEP-DAD'S A FREAKIN' VAMPIRE! POSTERS BY TONY MOORE (Co-Creator of The Walking Dead)

Also, director, David Matheny will have copies of the poster from MY STEPDAD'S A FREAKIN' VAMPIRE! available. Drawn by the co-creator of The Walking Dead, Tony Moore! Doesn't get much cooler than that!

6. COOKIES BY LITTLE LULU'S CONFECTIONS

Little Lulu's Confections will be helping out The Runaway Sun with her amazing cookies and cake-pops! They taste even better than they look.

7. PRINTS BY DEVIN KOEHLER

 Come pick up a print and get it signed by our concept artist, Devin Koehler! Devin has helped director, David Matheny shape the look of the film. Now you can own a signed print by the man himself!

8. PRINT BY KYLE STRAHM

Kyle Strahm will be there for a short period of time signing prints of the android concept he did for the film. Be sure to swing on by and get them while they last. He might even sketch a cookie for you!

9. SKETCHES BY DAMONT JORDAN

 Damont will be doing $10 sketches all day long! He'll draw anything you want! Just tell him what you want and he'll do it. As the night goes on he might get a little booked. 10. It's not only THE RUNAWAY SUN day, It's also MAN OF STEEL Day

 All day long, you can stop by Elite Comics on June 12th and pick up a copy of All-Star Superman #1. All Star Superman is by far my favorite superman comic I've ever read. I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't read it before.
